“Ben” Hogan: (1912-1977) American professional golfer, generally considered one of the greatest players in the history of the game. Noted for, his profound influence on the golf swing theory, and his legendary ball-striking. Won 68, professional events including the Masters, 1951, 1953; U.S Open, 1948, 1950, 1951, 1953; The Open, 1953; and the PGA, 1946, 1948. Had the greatest year ever in golf in 1953, when he entered six events, won five, and three of them, were Majors. 1974 World Golf Hall of Fame, Inductee. Arnold Palmer: American professional golfer.
