John Lennon and Paul McCartney were responsible for over 180 songs. The vast majority of those were recorded by the Beatles. Unusual is the fact they each wrote both music and lyrics, a partnership that was formed in 1957 when Paul joined John in the “Quarrymen”. The image seen here is an early image of the pair in Hamburg during 1960. The guitarist in the background is probably Stuart Sutcliffe. The early color image is matted in tan and black with an informative black and gold plaque. Framed in narrow brown “leather” with gold accent. Ready to hang.
