Johnny Cash is considered one of the most influential musicians of the 20th Century. With over 90 million records sold worldwide it is no wonder his popularity was rewarded by his inclusion into the Country Music; Rock & Roll; and Gospel Music Hall of Fames. The black and white image seen here was taken preceding his February 24th, 1969, San Quentin Prison, concert. The photographer aske Johnny Cash if he had a message for the prison authorities and what is shown was his answer. Matted and framed in white and black double matt with two guitar cutouts. A black and gold informative plaques features his replica, laser engraved signature. Framed in black “leather” with gold accent to an approximate overall size of 26x28x1 inches. Ready to hang.
